       From the beginning, Houston Pagan Pride has had an absolutely wonderful area for youth activities run by our much-loved Davida Moonsong. She strives to keep the kids safe and entertained and also provides them with activities that can be educational as well as fun. Please be aware that for the safety of your children, certain rules must be adhered to. If you have craft supplies or other items you would like to donate or have questions, please contact Davida.

Rules

• Children under the age of 7 MUST be signed in and out by their parents to enter or leave the youth activities area.

• Children age 7 and up may be granted "in & out" privileges without parents signing them in and out ONLY with a signed consent from the parent.

• Children age 3 and under MUST be accompanied by a parent.

• Your children will have identifying information discreetly pinned to them while they are in the youth activities area so that we know who they belong to in case of emergency or other need for you to come and get your child. Their names and your information will not be visible to strangers.

• Upon signing your child into the youth activities area, you are also agreeing that, while we do our best to keep them safe,  neither Houston Pagan Pride nor Pagan Pride International are liable for anything which may happen to your child while participating.

• All items left to dry in the youth activities area will need to be picked up before the area closes in the evening. These items are for your child to take home.

• Davida will expect civil behavior from your children and  reserves the right to send unruly children back to their parents at any time should they not be able to behave themselves.

Activities

     Your children will have a full day of fun FREE OF CHARGE! This is just a small sample of the type of things that Davida may be planning for them to do:

• wand making

• mask making

• spell banner making (including the meanings of color and symbolism)

• witch/wizard hat making

• spin art

• coloring/drawing

• jewelry making

• craft stick projects

• drum/rain stick making

• dream catcher making

     The line-up of activities may change depending on what other ideas Davida may come up with before the event.

Materials Donations

     Davida generally supplies all of the youth activity area materials herself, but there are some items she could use help with so she has enough to go around:

• vinyl table cloths

• stencils & stampers

• fake flowers and foliage

• paper towels &/or wet wipes for little hands
